I really felt that my life was missing something, so I thought I'd add a blog to the pile of other things I barely seem to have time for!

Here I'll wax lyrical, or not so lyrical, about all things photography, but forgive me if I drift off course into social and political issues occasionally!

I spent some time over the weekend at a three day horse event for the paper. This type of event makes one realise exactly how much effort some people go to for their sports and hobbies. An event like this must take a cast of hundreds to pull off.

Along with a few horses, I met a chap by the name of Darren Moore who was the official club photographer on the day. Darren had a great set-up with on-site viewing of the photos for competitors and their families using touch screen computers to take orders.

I've also put some effort into putting some more pics in the Sports gallery here, the last two weeks of Lincoln netball, and the Ellesmere Rugby final which was a wet and wild affair towards the end of the day, but a good solid game to declare lincoln the Ellesmere sub league champs for 2006.
